This Smith & Wesson Model 10-14 is with us as a consignment sale. The owner states that he purchased it new in 2024 and has put between 30 – 40 rounds through it. It certainly does look like it just came off the shelf. Serial number is DRS3305.
The Model 10 has been in production, in one form or another, since 1899. The – 14 versions were first introduced in 2002. In 2012, they were included in the “Classic" line of revolvers from Smith & Wesson.
Chambered for the .38 Special cartridge, the revolver is rated for +P ammunition. The barrel is 4 inches long and has fixed sights. The fluted cylinder holds 6 rounds. The frame is a Smith & Wesson K frame with a carbon steel barrel and frame. The revolver functions in both single and double action. The very attractive grips are checkered wood with the S&W medallion embedded in the grip.
Our revolver is in overall Near Mint condition. It has a good bore, bright barrel and crisp rifling. Take a good look at the grips as they have a very nice grain pattern. The grips, along with the metal finish are Near Mint. The single action trigger is very nice and has a light, clean break. The double action trigger has a normal double action feel to it.
If you like the Smith & Wesson Classic line or just classic looking Smith & Wesson revolvers, take a good look at this one. It’s just about like new but priced considerably less than new. This 10-14 is a real bargain.
Purchase includes the revolver as shown, original box, owner’s manual and key.
