Description:
This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of .22 Short Swaged Bullet ammunition manufactured the Union Metallic Cartridge Company circa late 1880's to early 1890's. The two piece green and orange & black label box remains intact with a small edge split on the bottom edge and some flaking of the side seal label with an intact primary label having very nice graphics. The cartridges are in excellent condition. Identified as UMC-7 S-2(a) in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference based on the original Dunn classification system.
