Offered here for sale and just acquired is a desirable early manufacture of the popular Ruger 10-22 carbine. With our home in Southport, CT for the past 5 decades and through our Ruger Collectors Assc (RCA) we have sold literally thousands of Ruger firearms and with so many we can offer monthly specials to avid collectors and shooting enthusiasts.. This Ruger 10/22 Carbine, serial number 110-01339, was manufactured in 1969. According to Ruger's serial number history, production of the 10/22 Carbine began in 1964, with serial number 1, and continued through the years. By 1969, the serial numbers had reached approximately 186,076, indicating that this rifle was produced early in that year. The 10/22 Carbine is renowned for its reliability, accuracy, and versatility. It features an 18.5-inch barrel, a hardwood stock, and a patented 10-round rotary magazine. The rifle's simple design and modularity have made it a favorite among shooters and collectors alike.
It appears to have seen very little use and retains all its finish, with only some scattered storage marks on the wood. Mostly storage marks. The former owner etched an ID in the trigger guard which should not affect operation of the weapon..The 10-round rotary magazine is a standard feature for the 10/22 Carbine and is compliant with many state regulations, including those in Connecticut.
