Description:
I have a JM Marlin 336 in 35 Remington, made in 1977.. The rifle has a 20" micro-groove barrel with an excellent bore. The bluing is very good with one blemish behind the front sight (see pics).
There is a hint of freckling on the left side of the receiver flat behind the forearm.
The wood finish is worn thru on both the forearm and butt, There is some finish remaining but the stocks could use a light sanding and refinish The are no spilts or cracks, but the wood shows its age.
The rifle is still solid with no wobble or loose fitting parts.
If a body wants a shooter that's less than perfect, but still very servicable,this is your gun.
