Marlin Model 37 Takedown Rifle in .22 caliber. 24" round barrel. Nice bore, I will rate it a 7.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. Action functions nicely. Barrel and magazine tube retain 65-70% original blue. Receiver retains 60-65% original finish. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition. Original buttplate is in very nice condition. Manufactured 1913-1916. Features beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, standard barrel legend on top of the barrel and caliber marked on the left side at the chamber, top tang marked "Marlin/MOD. 37" and serial number on the lower tang, ribbed slide grip and straight grip stock.
