Description:
VERY NICE BROWNING MODEL 53 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32-20. S# 00410NM3F7. Bbl. 22". Model 53 lever action rifle mfg. in Japan and imported by Browning Arms Company. The left side of the bbl. is marked with Browning's importer information above "MADE IN JAPAN", followed by the model and cal. designations, which are also present on the right side of the bbl. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Checkered wood pistol grip buttstock, with checkered wood forend. Dovetailed blade front sight, with receiver mounted Lyman Model 66MA adj. aperture rear sight. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting some light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows a few superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. .32-20 Winchester
