Gunmark Viscount by Arrieta, this 12 bore gun features 2-3/4″ chambers, 28″ chopper lump barrels choked IC/M, auto-ejectors, auto-safe, double triggers. The sidelocks are engraved in a Purdey-style rose and scroll on an old silver finish. UK-based Gunmark produced these guns in collaboration with Arrieta, striving to create a British-best at a very reasonable cost. Essentially an Arrieta 578, the gun has the inherent feel and characteristics normally associated with British side-by-sides. Straight stocks, splinter forends, long length of pull to a checkered butt, balanced dead on the hinge pin, and weighing just 6lbs. 13oz. This gun has seen very little use and remains in outstanding condition with 98% factory blue, 99% factory finish on action and trigger guard, hand-rubbed oil finish on the wood with just a few light field marks, barrels tight on the hinge pin and breech face like a new gun and the top lever well to the right of center. The mechanics are excellent, with strong, well-timed ejectors, crisp triggers, auto safety that works as it should, and excellent screws throughout. The English walnut stock is nicely figured with superb checkering and wood to metal fit, no cracks, and great dimensions. We can alter the gun to fit your needs in our gunsmithing department within a few days of purchase if you require or desire. See specifications below.
