Description:
This Model 61 is a standard version and has a larger circumference forend and a pistol grip stock than the "Pre-War" version. It is loaded and fed by a 24" tube magazine, and has a large thumb screw on the left side of the action that makes the gun a takedown. This gun has a Redfield No. 70 Micrometer Receiver Sight, and is chambered for 22 Short, 22 Long, and 22 Long Rifle ammunition. The tube magazines on Winchester 61 rifles hold 14 long rifle cartridges, 17 longs or 20 shorts.
