Browning Model 1886 Grade I Lever Action Rifle with Box
This Browning 1886 was manufactured in 1986 by Miroku. It is chambered in 45-70 and it has a blue 26" full octagon barrel and full magazine tube. It has standard walnut stock with some figure on the butt stock, crescent buttplate and semi-buckhorn rear barrel sight. With matching factory box with manual and original plastic sleeve.
Condition:
This Browning 1886 rifle is in excellent condition could be described as new old stock. There is virtually no evidence that this rifle was used or shot. The stock show none of the usually bumps or nicks expected of a rifle that has been used but well cared for. The metal surfaces also exhibit no evidence that it has been use with no scratches or wear to the surface. This rifle was made in 1986 in a limited quantity and is referred to a Grade 1. These were made to copy exactly the Winchester 1886 rifle designed by John Browning and do not have the tang safety or rebounding hammer typical of the current production. The rifle comes with a factory box that is in excellent condition with the Styrofoam insert and wafer cover still in new undamaged condition. With the box comes the original instruction manual & warrantee card and original plastic sleeve the rifle was shipped in.
