Description:
The Model 1951 Beretta was produced to replace the existing Italian pistol with one that used the 9mm Parabellum. It was subsequently issued as a military and police weapon in many nations in the Mediterranean area. One can see its similarity to the Model 92, adopted by the US as its duty weapon to replace the Colt 1911. It features a cross-bolt safety, fixed sights, and lanyard loop. The grips are a brown Bakelite or similar material. 9mm Parabellum
