James Purdue under lever hammer shotgun
Circa 1870. Gun was restored and reproofed
post 2005. Highly figured English walnut stock with very fine checkering to included the butt.
reproofing indicates date and designates barrels as lined which I can not substantiate. Barrel length is 29". Proofed for 2 1/2" 16 Ga. Shells
barrels have beautiful Damascus pattern with
se slight bore etching .
