Maleham SLE 16ga 30” Barrel
This excellent example of Maleham’s work is circa 1878. From a store in London and produced in Sheffield they manufactured entirely bespoke guns. Damascus barrels in a light brown tone modified in England to accommodate modern 2 ¾’ cartridges and re-proofed up to 1 1/8oz. loads. Tipping the scales at 6lbs 4ozs this is an excellent example of a fine English field gun. The beauty and mechanical quality of Maleham’s is well known and not duplicated in today’s firearms. Included is a well- traveled leather case.
