Description:
The Browning Light Twelve is a lighter version of the standard Browning Auto-5 shotgun, introduced in 1946. It's known for its lighter weight, achieved through modifications like drilling holes in the barrel ring, using a narrower rib, and milling the receiver. The Light Twelve is a 12-gauge, semi-automatic shotgun with a long recoil operation, a characteristic "humpback" design, and plugged for 3 capacity. The Light Twelve is lighter than the standard Auto-5, making it easier to carry and swing. Long Recoil Operation is the same system used in the standard Auto-5, known for its reliability and smooth cycling. The distinct design with a high rear end is a signature feature of the Auto-5. The Light Twelve uses an alloy receiver to reduce weight without sacrificing strength. 28" Barrel with Vent Rib helps with accuracy and performance. The fixed Modified choke ensures a tight pattern at longer distances. It is adorned with floral scroll work, a hallmark of Browning's craftsmanship. 12 Gauge
