Description:
Serial #31548, 16 Gauge (2 ¾ inch chamber), 27 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore having an external Poly Choke. This is the Savage Arms Co. model 720 semi-automatic shotgun based upon the Browning A-5 action. This is the three shot, Upland Sporter edition scroll engraved on the receiver with a Ruffed Grouse in flight on either side. The barrel and frame retain about 85-90% original blue finish with scattered freckling and light use marks. The checkered stock and forearm are solid with scattered surface level contusions and marks showing finish loss. The hard rubber butt plate is intact. A beautiful example of these very well built Savage pre-WWII upland guns. FFL or C&R
