This Archaic Jade Eastern Zhou Dynasty Scabbard Mount (770-221 BC) is carved with the face and body of a dragon and with an opening for the blade with the approximate dimensions of, 2 1/4" x 3/4" x 7/8". This scabbard mount, also known as a scabbard locket, is the piece that sits at the opening of the scabbard and which keeps the aperture readily accessible to receive the blade. This comes with a letter of Authenticity from "Chicochai Antiques Ltd" September 2000. Please see photo's for fine details. ;
