An early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver with a 5 inch barrel In Fine Plus Condition. Serial # 200,797, All matching numbers. Made in 1862, all original and complete. The revolver has fine plus to excellent metal, markings, and edges. It has an excellent & crisp full cylinder scene on it. It has the desirable "Hartford Address" on top of the barrel. The barrel and cylinder retain most of their original factory blue on them with some areas fading to a plum color. The frame, loading lever, and hammer excellent and vivid factory case colors on them. All screws are excellent and retain their original blue on them. The backstrap & trigger guard are both fine and retain some of their original factory silver on them. The factory grips are excellent throughout and retain their original varnish on them. The action and bore are both fine in the pistol. This Is A Very Fine Example Of A Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver In Fine Plus To Excellent Condition!
