Description:
Springfield Armory M1 Garand chambered in 30-06 Springfield with a 24" S-A-9 52 marked barrel. This gun features a front protected blade sight, adjustable aperture rear sights. The stock set is a smooth 3 piece pistol grip hardwood buttstock with a "P" stamp in the lower wrist and "SA / JIC stamp on the left side stock above the trigger guard. The gun is mostly made of Springfield parts with the exception of the gas plug is marked "0" and the safety is marked "U". The receiver is stamped "US RIFLE - CAL .30M1 - SPRINGFIELD ARMORY - 4202456. This M1 is in good used surplus condition. Metal parts show no pitting, just finish wear.
