Here is a rare 2nd Model Antique 1890 Winchester Rifle offered .22 Short that letters from Cody with 1X wood. (See copy of the Cody Data Sheet). .24" octagon barrel retains 65-70% original blue with the remainder a brown / gray patina. Good bore, I will rate it a 7 on a scale from 1 to 10. Great markings and action functions nicely. Receiver retains 10-15% case colors with the remainder a nice molted coverage. The crescent style buttplate still exhibits 30% of its original case colors. Bore forend and buttstock are in very good condition. Nice burl and finish. Here is a chance to own a rare and seldom seen configuration on a 2nd Model 1890 Winchester.
