Description:
Original cased Colt Root model revolver, retaining about 80% of its factory blue finish. The original varnish on the grips can only be described as pristine. The box with its original liner runs true, with no warping and carries its factory accessories, including the original key. Three tiny dings appear just above the oil hole on the hammer side of the frame but detract very little and one relieved area around one nipple shows some roughness; no other defects are present. An overall good + example of an all original pre-civil war cased Colt.
