This little revolver is a single-action/double-action revolver built on the I frame with a 6-shot fluted cylinder. It was built with a hand ejector and came in nickel or blued steel. The grips are made of black hard rubber with the S & W logo. The 5th change incorporated many technical improvements, most associated with double-action operation. The Model 1903, 5th Change was manufactured Circa 1910-1917. This particular piece is in good condition for its age. The bore is remarkable for a revolver more than 100 years old.
