Description:
44 caliber, 20" barrel length and full magazine tube, S/N 409380 (ca. 1892). Two line Winchester address and King's Improvement Patent dates on top of the barrel. Serial number marked on the lower tang. Caliber marked on the bottom of the brass cartridge carrier. Blue finish on the barrel, magazine tube, frame and trigger. Case color on the hammer, lever and butt plate. Walnut stock and forend. Front blade sight and rear notched sight. Left side of the frame with saddle ring. This Winchester Model 1873 was possible factory refinished as the integrity of the lines and markings have been well preserved and are very sharp and crisp. Very good overall condition as it retains most of the possible factory refinish on the frame, barrels and magazine tube. Vibrant case color on the lever, hammer and butt plate. The stock is excellent with nicks and dings consistent with age and storage. Bore is bright and mirror shiney. Mechanically EXCELLENT ... MIRROR BORE!!!
