Description:
This U.S. Springfield Model 1884 in .45-70 Govt. is in good overall condition. The wood stock and forend show wear consistent with a firearm of this era. The bore has distinguishable rifling, but there is a considerable amount of frost present. The exterior metal finish all has a light patina. There are a few markings on the wood stock. A "488" near the top tang. The stock shows a "23" on the right side of the butt. An indistinguishable cartouche is also present above the trigger group on the left side of the stock. NO accessories included. Serial number range is 531XXX. .45-70 Government
