Description:
SAVAGE Model 1899 chambered for .303 SAVAGE ammunition; according to the savagelevers , this rifle was manufactured in 1902. While most lever action models are tube fed, and stack rounds tip to primer and require the use of round nosed bullete to prevent accidental firing, the Savage 1899 has a 5 round rotary magazine and can be used safely with pointed ammo. This rifle features a loaded chamber indicator on to of the reciever and a round counter on the left-hand side of the reciever. This particular rifle was manufactured in 1902 and is in great condition for its age. .303 Savage
