Description:
This is a fairly uncommon 3rd generation S&W 4566 pistol chambered in 45 ACP. It's a variation of the 645 with a 4.25" barrel and ambi safety decocker. Traditional double action. We are lead to believe that this was a police dept. issued pistol due to the "PPD-055" engraving on the left front of the slide which was not standard. It is in very good condition for a PD gun with only minor signs of use. Comes in a correct era factory box but since there is no label on either end, we can't assume it's the original one. No paperwork.
