Offered is a terrific S&W Model 2, 2nd issue .38 single action spur trigger with the rare 3” barrel in the original box. The condition is about new, no scratches, flaking or chips in the finish. The beautiful black hard rubber grips are just like new. The gun is mechanically perfect and functions just like it did when it left the factory almost 150 years ago. The original Smith & Wesson box is in excellent condition without any broken corners on the lid and it has the matching serial number on the bottom of the box. The label is mostly all there. This one would be difficult to improve on. The Model 2 was made from 1877-1891 and this one is in the first couple of years, approximately 1878. This gun was made before 1898 and meets the requirements of an antique so no license is required to purchase the gun. It will ship directly to you. I offer a three-day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped with insurance to your address in the continental United States for $55.
