Description:
"Serial No. 666U, made in 1917, 8mm, 29.5" round barrel. Bore is fair with oxidation noted in the grooves, rifling still remains strong. Serial numbers are non-matching, metal has turned to a brown/grey patina. Imperial markings are found on the right side of the receiver along with import markings, and Turkish marks. Stock has expected handling and usage wear with a painted rack number on the right side of the butt stock. Action is smooth and functions correctly. These rifles were the workhorse of the battlefields in WWI!
