This is a 1943 NPM M1 Carbine manufactured between April an September of 1943. Serial # is 1,519,..... and the barrel is dated 7/43 verifying this time frame. In accordance with 2 well known reference books on the M1 Carbine the rifles components are correct for this batch of this production run. I have included in photos Appendix J "US M1Carbinesurvey(revised) which lists all assemblies and groups with individual manufacturer marks for all parts marked.
