This Springfield Armory Model U.S. 1873 is a right hand trapdoor action rifle in .45-70 Gov't. Cal. It has a 32.5 inch barrel. A hooded front blade sight and a sliding adjustable notch middle sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood straight grip. The forearm is a smooth grip hardwood. Serial Number 27369 (1874). .45-70 Government
