Vintage Browning Auto 5 12 GA Light Twelve SA Shotgun C.1956
Offered here for sale and just acquired is a very fine a vintage Browning Auto 5 Light Twelve 12 GA semi-auto shotgun serial number G 53031. It was manufactured circa1956. The "G" prefix indicates a Light Twelve model, and the serial number range for Light Twelve shotguns in 1956 was G1 to G23,000 .
It has a 30" barrel. Early round knob. Vent rib. Original Browning hard rubber buttplate. It shows use but retains most of its original blue on barrel and receiver. Slight speckling of patina on receiver most of which will clean well. Minor use marks and scuffs on stock which is solid without cracks. A very fine vintage Browning which can be used untouched as this specimen is or with a very small amount of tender loving care can be dressed up to enhance its original beauty.
