RARE MARLIN MODEL 62, .256 WIN. MAG. CALIBER LEVER RIFLE WITH MARLIN SCOPE, #3XXX. These "modern hammerless" lever rifles were introduced in 1963 and ceased in 1969. With limited numbers made, these are hard to find. This is one of the first I've seen mounted with a "MARLIN MICRO-POWER MADE IN U.S.A." marked 6X scope. Scope has exc. optics. This one appears to have seen little to no use and is in about new condition overall. Has a filler in the rear barrel sight dovetail with no indication of having ever held a sight. Front sight still has the hood. Marlin embossed butt plate. Correct factory sling and swivels. Tight action, bright minty bore. Rarely seen in any condition and especially so with the Marlin scope mounted.
