A fine example of early 20th-century American sporting arms: Savage Model 1899 Engraved Take Down, Victor Grade, chambered in the iconic .250-3000 Savage cartridge. Manufactured in 1914, this rifle is tastefully enhanced by a Griffin & Howe restock and action tuning, using well-figured European walnut for a striking and elegant upgrade.

• Scroll and game scene engraving on receiver
• Checkered, engraved, and case-hardened buttplate with hinged cartridge trap
• Lyman folding peep sight and cocking indicator
• 22" barrel, serrated trigger blade
