A MODERN COMMEMORATIVE 12-BORE PERCUSSION OVER-UNDER 'III CENTENARIO' SHOTGUN,
Produced in1980 to commemorate Beretta's third centenary, 30in. browned black powder only barrels with two barrel bands, the top rib inlaid '1680 PIETRO BERETTA GARDONE 1980', side-mounted ramrod with sling swivel to rod pipe, back action locks with ornate hammers, floral and scroll engraving, colour-hardened finish, 14 3/8in. stock with cheekpiece, sling swivel and steel buttplate, the fore-part with escutcheon inlaid with the model designation, weight 6lb. 13oz. " Commonly knows as the Beretta Three Hundred year commemorative".
This gun was purchased from a gun shop as a previously owned item. The overall appearance of this gun is excellent with only one very small imperfection located on the right side near the bottom of the hand grip. Not sure if it came from the factory that way or not. The metal parts of the gun show no imperfections, tubes are bright, primer nipples show no corrosion. Accesories show some discoloration on brass fittings but none of the attachments show signs of use including bore brush and swabs. I find no signs that the gun has ever been fired.
