Description:
The Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 17, also known as the K-22 Target Masterpiece, is a .22 LR caliber, six-shot, double-action revolver built on the medium-sized K-frame. Introduced in 1947, it was later designated as the Model 17 in 1957 when Smith & Wesson standardized model numbers. Key features include adjustable open sights (a Patridge front sight and a micrometer click-type rear sight), a ribbed barrel, and a five-screw frame on earlier models. These revolvers are highly regarded for their accuracy and are popular for target shooting, plinking, and as a training gun for centerfire revolvers. .22 Long Rifle
