"Serial No. 2344523, made circa 1945, chambered in .45 ACP with a 5" round barrel. Pistol shows re-arsenal factory finish with high edge wear, particularly around the muzzle, consistent with service use.Factory markings on the slide and frame remain sharp and well-defined. Grips exhibit light handling wear and marks. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A solid example of a late WWII-issued Colt 1911A1.
