"Serial No. 844403, made in 1942, chambered in .45 ACP with a 5" round barrel. Pistol retains approximately 95% re-arsenal finish, with light wear around the muzzle and edges. Factory markings on the slide and frame remain sharp and crisp. Checkered grips are in excellent condition, showing minimal handling wear. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A fine and collectible example of an early WWII Colt 1911A1.
