Description:
This is a very good example of a typical heavily refinished Argentine military rolling block rifle chambered in .43 Spanish. Most of these rifles were never issued, sat in storage, rusted a little, and were then heavily refinished in the early 1960s for export to the US. There is very minor pitting along wood line. Not to worry. Action is crisp and tight. Bore in the 36" barrel is excellent. The rear sight is a copy of the German Werndl rifle sight and is the best ever mounted on the black powder military rolling blocks. Refinished stock has small bumps and bruises, but no cracks. LOP is 13.25. Rifle weighs about 9.5 lbs. Should be an excellent shooter. Antique ships directly to your door. $500 + Shipping.
