Description:
This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of .22 short ammunition private label manufactured by Federal and sold by Sears under the J.C. Higgins brand name circa early 1960's. The one piece box is in excellent condition with bright colors showing slight rub wear and a slight bottom left corner crush. The cartridges are in excellent condition. These 60+ year old boxes are getting harder to find in high condition. Identified as Sears-10 S-1 in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference.
