Description:
WWII Schmidt-Rubin K-31 – in Original Military Configuration – Collectible/Shooter Condition - manufactured in 1942 – serial # 754447. The serial number is found on the receiver, barrel, bolt & magazine – all numbers match completely. 6 Round Detachable Magazine – which also can be Charger Loaded - Straight Pull Bolt Action – 25.7” barrel – chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss, this round has similar ballistics to 7.62 NATO or .308 Winchester. These actions are extremely strong – fast shooting & accurate out to 500 meters. They were standard issue of the Swiss Armed Forces from 1933 to 1958 & some saw use by some divisions into the 1970s. I have read that Germany didn’t attack Switzerland because of it! Mechanically sound; functions properly & safely – the Bore is in Excellent Condition; bright & shiny with No frosting – will be as accurate as ever. The bluing is strong; deep & dark showing only minor wear & handling marks – No rust or pitting issues – very clean. The stock & handguard match & are solid with no cracks or repairs. The finish is light in color – very clean – just handling marks & a little “weathered” near the butt plate which is typical of these K-31’s. The buttplate has some pitting.
