Description:

Standard configuration Mosin Nagant 91/30 bolt action sniper rifle, made by Izhesvk in 1944, chambered in 7.62x54mmR. This import marked rifle has a hooded post front sight and a tangent rear sight graded 1-20, and a matching 1943 dated PU scope whose reticle has a central post with tapered point bracketed by two lines. The original SN: K?2189 is on all the major components to include receiver, bolt, floorplate, and buttplate. Proof marks scattered throughout the entire rifle. Complete with matching PU scope whose number 34791 appears on the left side of the receiver. Accessories include: correct sling, scope cover, double ammo pouch, leather scope lens caps, armorers kit, grease tin, bayonet, and accessory bag.

Condition:

VG+ as imported into the United States, with rough machining over most of its exposed surfaces, proofing proud with halos. Comparable condition stock with scuffs and superficial finish losses as carefully imaged. Bright optics, the scope point of aim moved via coarse and fine external adjustments. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. Accessories in the same or better condition as the rifle. An extremely nice Sniper Russian Mosin-Nagant from WWII with an enviable roster of accessories.
