1978 Colt .45 1911 Packmayr Combat Special, Gold Cup National Match, Series 70 Mark IV, with AD Swenson ambi safety, Bo-Mar adjustable sights with orange post, Slide marked PCS 278, Packmayr L.A., signature handgrips with strap, barrel marked Series 70 207, original box and Styrofoam insert (I think, box is in rough shape and missing end cap). NRA Very Good Condition (as I understand it - has not been officially graded). NOT a safe queen but very gently used.
In the Spring of 2025 the same (lesser quality – Combat Cmdr. not National Match) sold in Cincinnati, Ohio for $7,200.00. Looking to sell for $5,600.00 firm (midpoint of recent s I could find). If you, or someone you know, might have an interest in this piece of history - this is your chance !!!.
