Description:
This Savage Axis Bolt-Action Rifle features a synthetic stock and a matte-black-finished carbon steel barrel and receiver. A silky-smooth bolt and detachable box magazine provide uncompromised reliability. The 2-position tang safety is easy to reach with either thumb. Sling swivel studs allow you to carry the rifle with a sling and/or attach a bi-pod to the fore end, and a rubber recoil pad delivers superior comfort while shooting. This Savage Axis is an extremely durable, low-maintenance bolt-action rifle. This would be a great gun for hunting or make for a fun day at the range. .308 Winchester
