Payment Types Accepted: Description: This model 32 is in excellent condition and has been very well kept. At some point the vent rib was added by Simmons, it was reblued, and there was jeweling done to the action.  This 32 skeet is about as clean as you will find and it shoots and functions perfectly.   KICK- EEZ Pad- Briley Manufacturing Stock has not been cut down.  Forcing cones have been extended - Briley Manufacturing.  Barrels were ported and reamed to LM (bottom) / M ( top) - Briley Manufacturing.  Wood is in exceptional shape for it's age with very light handling as shown.  Custom silver stock cap - see photos The Remington 32 was first introduced in 1932 and was designed by C.C.Lomis at Remington. It was the first machine made O/U shotgun made in America. Production ran for 12 years and they produced about 5,100 guns in seven grades. It was discontinued in 1944 due to production costs. The barrels were offered in plain, solid rib, and ventilated rib barrels for trap, skeet, and field sport shooting. This gun was later re-introduced and modified by Kreighoff as their model K-32. The Remington model 32 is at times referred to as the poor mans Kreighoff and it's an engineering marvel in the shotgun world.   The Remington model 32 features a sliding hood mechanism that secures the barrels to the action.  It has seperated barrels, without the traditonal side ribs, which made the gun lighter and allowed for faster barrel cooling while shooting skeet.  It has an adjustable safety and can be changed from manual to automatic operation,or bypassed.
