Description:
Just in, a wonderful Browning Sweet Sixteen from 1953 (X Prefix Serial Number), Round knob, Plain Matted Barrel with fixed full choke. Perfect bore and 2.75 inch chamber. Looks as though it spent most of its life in a gun vault - a real closet queen. I do not see any bluing that is worn or missing, and stock and forend have all the original stock finish with only the most minor of handling marks. Just a superb Sweet Sixteen that is 72 years old.
