LATE PRODUCTION 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE IN .32-20 CALIBER, #990XXX, MADE 1929. Surprisingly difficult caliber to find in a carbine as most seem to surface as .25-20 or .38-40 calibers. This is a fine example that shows the correct late markings including the "MODEL 92" barrel marking. The receiver shows fine deep blue on the right side and bolt with the left side showing good blue with some dulling. Good aged blue on the receiver bottom. The barrel and mag tube show fine blue with some minor thinning/browning toward the front portion . Retains the carbine ladder rear sight with slide intact. Exc. walnut butt stock and forend show only the lightest of handling with tight wood to metal fit. Tight action with strong safety half-cock and minty bright bore. Made the year of the Great Stock Market Crash 96 years ago in 1929.
