1956 Chicopee Falls production Savage 99F chambered in .358 Winchester. I have had this rifle for a couple of years and it has done well. I currently have two other 99s chambered in that caliber and looking to make room to add other 99s to add to my collection that I don't currently have. If you are a purist 99 collector, this is not the rifle for you. If you are a collector that is looking for a nice 99 chambered in .358 that looks nice, performs well, and great to hunt with, then this is the rifle for you. It features a 22" barrel with a front sweat on sight ramp. The furniture appears to be a modified aftermarket with cut checkering. I had placed a period correct F stock set on this rifle but I found that I preferred the custom DL type stock set that the rifle came with when I purchased it. The bluing is 95 percent and no scratches or rust in the metal.
