This was formerly owned-possessed by a Lacota (SIOUX)  native.and for how long is unknown...it became mine via a 'private sale......the sheath(deer hide)case I believe is original to its history. This Winchester Carbine seems to function as designed...but may have a pc. or some part absent...I have NOT dismantled it to verigy such..The stock displays several small size brads on forearm as well. I display this along w/ my Smith carbine from the Northfield Robbery 1876..which is within 50mi. of my1e I will attempt to reply to questions presented. Sold "As-IS" as I cannot 'warranty any 150yr. old ANYTHING.////Shipping increased  as of July,15th,2025...all shippers.!
