Serial Number:  7283u

Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to offer this Mauser P.08 code 41, serial number 7283u. Manufactured in 1941, this fine example features matching serial numbers on the barrel, frame, toggle and toggle pin, extractor, safety bar, safety lever, sear, side plate, take down lever and trigger. Of note are the Waffenamt acceptance and proof marks on the right-hand side of the slide and barrel, often faint these impressions are clear and defined. This example has 90% factory bluing remaining on the receiver and exhibits a very good bore with defined rifling, the gun has some holster and field wear. There is no play in the action and the guns tolerances are still tight, the trigger breaks crisply, overall, the gun feels solid and precise.
