Attractive all matching, WWII Russian sniper rifle made by the Tula Arsenal in 1944, complete with scope caps and protective scope cover!
Description:
Standard configuration Mosin Nagant 91/30 bolt action rifle dated 1944 chambered in 7.62x54mmR, with a hooded pin front sight, a tangent rear sight graded 1-20, and a standard undated PU scope, whose SN has been largely effaced. Import marked with SN R18116 however, the original SN: ??915 is on all the major components to include: barrel, receiver (electropencilled), bolt, floorplate, and buttplate. Proofing marks scattered through the entire rifle. Complete with cleaning rod, leather scope caps, and khaki canvas/green trim protective scope cover.
Condition:
VG with the rifle retaining most of its original salt blue finish, the stock with commensurately scattered scuff and wear marks without suggestion of refinish. Bright optics with minimal yellowing. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
