Description:
Available for sale is the iconic Ruger Bearcat 22lr, a vintage revolver that blends craftsmanship and functionality. Manufactured in 1971, this single-action revolver is perfect for collectors and outdoor enthusiasts alike. It features a distinctive blued and brass trigger guard finish, complemented by nicely figured walnut grips adorned with silver Ruger medallions. The Bearcat's cylinder bears a factory roll-engraved bear and cougar wilderness scene, adding an artistic touch that showcases Ruger's dedication to detail.
This Bearcat revolver was never converted with the transfer bar making it slightly more collectible. Revolver comes with a yellow Ruger box, and related Ruger transfer bar installation and NRA paperwork. There is a small scratch on the right grip that can be seen in the pics. The bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. Overall metal finish is 96% as you can see some very slight wear around the muzzle and some friction points.
The serial number puts the manufacture year at 1971 and also gives it C&R (Curio & Relic) eligible status. If you have a C&R FFL-03 license, I can transfer this pistol directly to you.
