Description:
Serial #68044, .30-30 Win, 14 inch bull barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Thompson Center Contender Gen-1 built in 1977. In excellent condition the frame retains about 85-90% of the original blue finish with some fading toward the breech with some very light impact marks on the upper left. The barrel rates about excellent with virtually all of the original finish with target sights. It has Walnut T/C grips with right hand thumb rest and wide hand-hold forearm with the early T/C grips cap. The action locks up tight. It comes in a Uncle Mike's shoulder holster. FFL
